Join Pam Ressler for a Mindfulness in Nature Mini-Retreat in Walden Woods in Concord, MA. We will explore how to meditate in non-traditional ways — as we simply slow down, observe, reflect, create and inspire. We will walk mindfully on the Brister’s Hill Path of Walden Woods, observing and reflecting upon the quotes from Henry David Thoreau interspersed along the path and then gather at the reflection circle to have a mindful snack and allow us to engage in the practice of Shinrin-Yoku (also called forest bathing — bringing mindful awareness to nature). We will then create haiku, or micro poems to complete our time together. No prior meditation experience required. All materials, including, a guide and journal to record your observations are included.
Pre-registration is necessary, space is limited to 12
